Central Palace

     "Wow! Only thirty three days!"

Exclaims Kelly cheerfully. Carol and Rainbow squeal in delight.

    "This will be awesome!!!" Cries Carol. They all nod ecstatically.

   "Do you guys want to read more about the cruse?" Asks Kelly, taking out 'The Human Cruse'.

   "Sure!"  

   "THE CRUSE WILL NOT HAVE WIFI. EACH DAY WE WILL BE GETTING OFF THE CRUSE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF TO LOOK AT THE SIGHT." , they chant together, hunched over the book. Everybody groans in annoyance. They have been doing this yesterday morning, chanting out every single word clearly and loudly.

      But DiDi and Didiyoshi have been enjoying all the information about the cruse. They have been taking notes about it whenever the three girls read.  

    " Okay, we're finished chapter eight. Lets save the rest for later." And they all went back to doing their own stuff: Rainbow, looking for her leashies, Carol, triple checking her list, and Kelly, flipping through her pawsport.

    "Son! PLEASE STOP OBSESSING OVER YOIR CRU TRIP! I heard you were doing this even more wildly for Lo Veagez. But THAT time, it was okay, because you were going to get ME. I also heard that GwutGwut did NOT like it! And right now, I DON'T LIKE IT EITHER!!! And plus, I don't have any clink material to drain out your voices unlike Cameron! SO PLEASE TELL YOU AND YOUR DOG FRIENDS TO STOP IT!!!!!!" Shouts Dasher.

     "Um, actually, it's called a cruise. And it's Las Vegas, not Lo Veagez." Rainbow says patiently.

    " I DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!"

     RIIIIIING RING RING RING Dasher looks at the phone, and immediately straightens his fur, puffs up his chest, picks up the phone and says in a very professional tone, "King Dasher speaking. How may I help you?"

     Rainbow nudges her friends. "He has two totally different personalities and they're so different that if you know one part of him, you wouldn't believe it's him when you meet the other part. "

     "That's true." Kelly agrees. "Even though I think this part of him is more mature and appropriate and really professional ( which is really cool), I have to admit, I don't know why, but I think I like the crazy part of him better. It's more of a personality than this part of him. This part of him seems so... so... so fake."

     Rainbow snorts. "That's only because you only know the other part and not this part."

     Kelly turns to Rainbow. "What do you mean? I know this part of him. I've seen him speak like this before."

      "Oh, you should see him in our castle. He's real enough to /me/"

       "Wow... I forgot you had a castle..." Kelly says dreamily with a faraway look in her eyes.

       "Not really /mine/. In fact, not mine at all. I only ever go there for special occasions, like somebody's birthday. And I also go when somebody is really ill and I have to pay a visit during their last days, or go to the welcoming ceremony for new knights, servants, or something like that. Otherwise, it has nothing to do with me. Oh! And I go there for protection. Like, if our house is invaded or something, our nanny will have to bring us to the castle."

       " I think the last part is really cool," Carol says, jumping up and down. " Like, your place is invaded and you have to escape to your secret hideout."

       Rainbow frowns at Carol. "It's not /cool/. It's /scary/ I've been into situations like that before and that time it was worse. There was no nanny to bring us there and we were surrounded by the super duper strong and powerful evil war bats. And not just any war bats! It was the extremely powerful and wicked Sylvia's magical war bats! We were trapped." Rainbow shudders at the memory.

         "Yeah I know," says Carol. "I was there. And it was UBER AWESOME."

        Kelly leans in closer with wide eyes. "Tell me all about it!"

         Rainbow was enjoying the attention, and continues. "So, one day Carol and I had to go my house to babysit Rainy. Then nanny came in and acted all weird and she said she had to go to the washroom and then shouted at us and then kept saying something about the washroom and- you get the idea. She was being really weird. We were really worried that she was ill and did not feel well, when suddenly, we heard loud, ear splitting screeching sounds. It was coming from outside ( for goodness sake, if they were inside, we'd be doomed ). I peeked out the window while Carol gasped excitedly with Rainy whimpering behind us, and to my horror, there was Sylvia, the evil witch! "

     Rainbow pauses dramatically, and Kelly gasps. " I was as scared as ever. Then,--" Carol interrupts, "/I/ wasn't scared! "

     Rainbow rolled her eyes at Carol. "Then, I heard Sylvia cackle and call out all her war bats but that time, the war bats were new. Nobody had ever heard of them before. And even if they were called war bats, they weren't bats at all. They were wicked and cruel gaigantic flying creatures. The only reasons they call them bats it because their only diet is blood. And these were special war bats. They only drink royal blood. "

     Kelly gasps so hard she nearly chokes and starts coughing. Dasher strolls past and gives Carol a mighty kick on the back with his hoof.

       Carol looks up with rage, "DASHER WHAT WAS THAT FOR!!??"

      Dasher turns to Carol "What? I was helping you to fix your annoying cough!"

       "BUT IT WASN'T EVEN ME WHO COUGHED!!!!"

       Dasher gives a startled grunt "Oh!" And he quickly trots away, tail in between his legs.

      "Whatever, keep on going," encourages Kelly, who's eager to see how the story turns out. 

      Rainbow takes a deep breath. "Then she saw me and said, 'Sweet hearts, I know you're there! Come out and let me give you guys a treat.' But of course, we weren't that dumb.

Then, she said 'That nanny of yours betrayed you. She ran for her own good. And left you behind.' I gasped and demanded,

' what have you done to her?!' Then she showed me her hand mirror and she was in a dungeon,surrounded by ten war bats. Rainy was so frightened because she realized we had a bad guy in our house: the fake nanny. I immediately called daddy and told them about the ugly and horrifying flying creatures and Sylvia.So daddy and mommy dashed here as fast as they could, leading a whole bunch of knights.

Mommy called Cherry to come when she heard about the flying creatures because she knew all about every single flying creature and if there was a creature that nobody knew, even Cherry, she ought to know first, because she knows how to deal with them.

Cherry arrived here first on Nimbus, with Batty, Snowfire and twenty battle clouds. Cherry, fortunately, already knew about these creatures, and so did Batty and Snowfire. The war bats were no match for our knights, so they fought Sylvia, while Cherry dealed with the war bats. It passed four hours and we were losing badly and Rainy was thinking hard, while I watched the battle, horrified. 

Then Rainy asked me, ' would the crystal spheres trap the bats and Sylvia?' 

A crystal sphere was a type if capturing thing. It was a special ability of Rainy's. It was a sphere that was hollow inside made of raindrops. You had to throw the sphere at the thing you want to capture, like for example, Sylvia. So you throw it at her, and when it touches her, it will engulf her and she will not be able to get out, it is super easy for things to get in, but impossible to get out. Even the strongest magic can't break through the crystal sphere. 

And I thought it was a splendid idea. So Rainy started making as many crystal spheres as she could while I counted the bats. They were all moving around rapidly so it was really hard.  I finally finished counting and there were eighty of them.

 Rainy made all of the crystal spheres and I used my own power to attach a long rainbow strip to it while Carol held on tight to the end of it, aiming for a war bat and sending the sphere hurtling towards the bat. She yanked at the the rainbow strip and the sphere came back with a war bat struggling to get out. We did that to the rest of them and Sylvia. 

After the battle was finished, Cherry called Verline to tend to the wounded knights and battle clouds. Every body congratulated us and we got a badge for quick thinking. Afterwards, we brought the crystal spheres with Sylvia and the warbats to Polly and asked her if she could banish them to the world where Penelope was once in, and Polly did.

Of course, we eventually remembered to free the nanny and found out that the fake nanny escaped ages before the battle- she got frightened when she saw all the knights and battle clouds and princess and king and queen and two other powerful bats. I still have the medal and certificate that I got for quick thinking and so do Rainy and Carol," Rainbow says proudly, her head held high. "Wow! You have to show me someday!!!" Kelly says. "Of course, of course. I definitely will. Of course."

... An awkward silence spreads in the room. Even the people at the window seat feels uncomfortable. Rainbow, Carol, and Kelly forces an awkward laugh, backs away, and immediately get back to their own things: Rainbow, looking for her leashies, Carol, fourple checking her list, and Kelly, flipping through her pawsport.
